I haven't written for a long time, and haven't written in B7 since I was in my teens/early twenties, so am a little nervous - and also very, very surprised!! Not sure where the plot bunny came from, but hey, it arrived suddenly and unexpectedly last night, so what could I do but obey it?<br /><br /><del>Anyway, I have someone talking about pain meds. Only, I'm not sure if that's the correct term? It's common amongst other fandoms, but not sure about in the B7 one. I'm probably just being neurotic, but somehow it didn't sound quite right. It's Vila talking, if that helps any.</del><br /><br />The ficlet is in 1st person, which isn't my preferred writing style (though reading, I'm happy with 1st or 3rd person). It's also PGP, and I never expected to write PGP, ever! Or deal with character deaths (I prefer to live in the 'they all survived' world in my head, though I enjoy fics that aren't so happy ending). And no Gan, of course! But plot bunnies, what can you do with them? They make you write things you didn't think you'd ever write! :)<br /><br />EDIT: Re the query, I think I'm overthinking things. Still got a few to do, so won't be posting just yet. And yes, there are some Gan ones, lol!! Though also other characters, and the Liberator, which is still the best looking sci-fi ship as far as I'm concerned. I've found that I've had to use black/white for some as the colours were bad and I struggled to fix that, and the screencaps vary in quality too (well, it is an old TV show after all).<br /><br />Anyway, does anyone know if posting icons to AO3 is the done thing or not? I've noticed artwork over there, but not sure if icons are considered appropriate content for the site. I need to get an AO3 account anyway, so that I can leave feedback and kudos on fics. Though I've not actually hit up AO3 for fics much yet, but it's the next source I'll be heading to once I've worked my way through fics I've found/am still finding on DW via the various comms. So much fic, unfortunately so little time to read it. RL, eh?
